About The Position
PBS Utah is seeking a part-time Data Entry Specialist to support its membership operations team by entering one-time and recurring donations. The role uses the University of Utah’s Unite (Salesforce) CRM to access and update member accounts, enter donations, and reconcile donation batches. The position is temporary, expected to last three months, and will end no later than January 31, 2027. The posting describes it as both benefitted and non-benefited. The successful candidate will work as a trusted member of PBS Utah’s membership department and help process gifts and maintain constituent records. The position may be fully remote after initial onboarding and training. The role supports PBS Utah’s commitment to making Utah communities feel appreciated and connected, and requires careful adherence to charitable-giving guidelines, data integrity practices, and PCI compliance.
Requirements
- Experience entering public media gifts into Unite (Salesforce) using batch sessions.
- Experience creating and updating constituent records in Unite (Salesforce).
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Efficient typing skills at 45+ words per minute.
- Strong professional communication skills.
- Ability to use time and resources effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Successful completion of a background check, or a current background check on file with the University.
Responsibilities
- Process one-time and recurring donations using Unite (Salesforce), including batch sessions.
- Access, create, and update constituent and member records in Unite (Salesforce).
- Reconcile donation batches.
- Support and assist the PBS Utah membership team with gift processing and constituent record maintenance.
- Complete assignments promptly and consistently.
- Follow University of Utah charitable guidelines and requirements for donor handling, data integrity, and PCI compliance.
