About The Position

Flowers Early Learning, formerly known as Tri-County Head Start, is a preschool serving Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties. Its mission is to build a future where children, families, and communities thrive by providing high-quality education, health services, and other support to families. The Data Entry Assistant accurately enters and maintains agency data, including In-Kind donations and CHIMP volunteer information. The role provides administrative support by recording data in a timely, organized manner and completing additional duties assigned by the Director, Administrative Staff, or Supervisor to support daily operations. This is a full-time, year-round (12-month), non-exempt, hourly position. The expected schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week from August through May and 35 hours per week from June through July. Hourly pay is listed by education level: $15.71 for high school, $17.84 for an associate degree, and $19.24 for a bachelor's degree or higher.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
Must complete a physical examination, comprehensive fingerprinted criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screen with negative results for the specified substances.

Responsibilities
