Data Engineer

The aCommerce Data Engineer will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and designing meaningful data models in the Data Platform. They will work with a cloud-based Big Data Platform to extract and utilize structured and unstructured marketplace data. The candidate will collaborate with other application teams and product managers to align with business goals and roadmap. Their duties include designing and implementing data pipelines, continuously improving solutions and processes, and working closely with IT members.

• Building, optimizing, and maintaining robust data pipelines
• Designing meaningful data models in the Data Platform for analysts
• Digesting marketplace data from different marketplaces, structured or unstructured
• Designing and implementing a strategic way to utilize extracted data from marketplaces
• Working closely with other application teams and product managers to align with business roadmap
• Participating in designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines for digesting data from various marketplaces
• Demonstrating continuous improvement by inspecting and adopting new ideas for improving solutions, tools, and processes
• Working closely with members of IT, such as Architecture, DevOps, and Business A

• Experience in building and maintaining robust data pipelines
• Proficiency in designing meaningful data models
• Familiarity with cloud-based Big Data Platforms
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured data from different marketplaces
• Strategic thinking to utilize extracted data effectively
• Collaboration skills to work with other application teams and product managers
• Knowledge of data digestion and integration processes
