About the position
The Finance Director will be responsible for managing the finance team, accounting process, and external reporting of the company. They will report directly to the PH CEO and indirectly to the Regional Financial Director. The Finance Director will also be involved in budget preparations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting and risk management procedures. They should have a degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA qualification, and at least 8+ years of experience in finance. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Manage the PH finance team, accounting process, and external reporting
- Report the company's performance to senior management
- Develop and supervise the accounting team
- Instill a positive culture in the office
- Manage a good working relationship with regional team, external and internal auditors
- Support and assist the PH CEO and regional leadership teams in budget preparations, monthly forecasts, and commercial optimization
- Responsible for PH financial reporting, including monthly closing of the books and preparation of required reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting, taxation, and risk management procedures
- Ensure full compliance with balance sheet reconciliation requirements
- Manage the annual statutory audit and quarterly audit reviews for all PH business
- Develop financial management mechanisms to minimize financial risk
- Lead projects to conclusion within designated timeframes, including external audit projects
- Build rapport and relationships with stakeholders

Requirements
- Degree in Accounting/Finance with a CPA
- At least 8+ years of experience in Accounts/Finance including full sets of accounts
- 2-4 years of professional accounting experience in Big Four is a big plus
- Comprehensive Knowledge of finance, full sets of accounting, budgeting/forecast, tax matters, and internal control principles
- Prior experience in preparing financial forecasts consolidated accounts from multiple countries
- A good team player who is proactive, with a Can-do attitude and able to work under tight schedules and multicultural.
- Knowledge of NetSuite or similar cloud based accounting software application is a plus, with experience of financial system migration.
- Highly Professional to work with other Functional and cross-functional Teams
- Proven integrity and maturity to accept added responsibilities
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to lead projects to conclusion within designated timeframes, including external audit projects.
