Data Engine Operations Analyst

On the Data Engine team at Aurora, we are seeking an exceptional operations analyst to join our world-class group. This role involves exploring computer vision, machine learning, and data annotation with human-in-the-loop tooling. As an operations analyst, you will develop expertise in our proprietary tools and processes, review and evaluate model output, orchestrate workflows, collaborate on training materials, and track task throughput. • Develop expertise in all of the Data Engine proprietary tools and established processes within the first three months of employment
• LiDAR point cloud labeling and tracking through time
• Image bounding box labeling
• Variant video-based labeling
• Metadata labeling and sub-categorization
• Quality assessment and auditing of data annotations
• Review and evaluate output generated by model and provide feedback or corrections as necessary
• Orchestrate existing workflows and provide feedback on both tooling and process
• Ability to respond to changing team priorities and properly allocate time to highest priority tasks
• Collaborate on training materials for deployment of tasks at scale
• Interact with and Interpret dashboards and reports to track throughput of high priority tasks

• 2+ years of relevant systems experience (i.e. 3D modeling software, image-based editing software, data entry, and/or proprietary data platforms, self driving operations)
• Strong attention to detail
• Solid communication and critical thinking skills to convey feedback on complex scenarios
• Former labeling experience regardless of domain (desirable)
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and computer vision (desirable)
• Strong process and metrics focus with a passion for getting things done (desirable)
