Dance Instructor

About The Position
The Dance Instructor leads youth dance classes at the Sylvania YMCA, providing engaging, high-quality instruction in a lively and safe environment. The instructor works with dancers at all skill levels, encouraging creativity, building confidence, and fostering a love of dance while helping create an inclusive community where participants feel welcome and valued. Styles sought include ballet, tap, and hip hop; other interests may include cheer, musical theater, and basic tumbling.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong foundation in dance styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, and/or hip hop.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to teach students of all skill levels.
- Passion for dance and sharing it with others.
Nice To Haves
- Interest or experience in cheer, musical theater, or basic tumbling.
Responsibilities
