About The Position

Gemini is seeking a D3 Cut-Out Fabricator to join its team in Decorah, Iowa. The role involves operating multiple machines to produce custom signage products. The position is offered on first or second shift, with overtime scheduled as needed. The wage range is $19.00–$24.28 per hour. Compensation packages may vary based on candidate-specific factors, and the role is eligible for additional benefits.

Requirements

Ability to understand and use multiple machine interfaces.
Ability to use appropriate personal protective equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Familiarity with reviewing production orders and job requirements.
Ability to receive and review artwork using OnBase and Carveco.
Ability to check artwork, identify discrepancies, and communicate them to layouts or sales.
Ability to determine cutting paths and operation sequences using software and optimize material placement.

Responsibilities

Use multiple machine interfaces to start programs on machines such as Amada lasers, Haas mills, and Flow waterjets.
Use the appropriate personal protective equipment for the department.
Review production orders to understand job requirements.
Receive and open artwork using OnBase and Carveco.
Check artwork using appropriate software and communicate discrepancies between the art proof and pick ticket to layouts or sales.
Determine cutting paths and operation sequences using provided software.
Maximize material usage by placing artwork on raw material sheets.
Perform other duties and activities as assigned.
