Cytotechnologist performs all necessary laboratory procedures pertaining to accessioning, technical preparation of cytologic specimens and initial evaluation of prepared slides from all body sites. This is a part-time position, 20 hours a week, with shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 am to 4 pm, and an additional 8 flexible hours throughout the pay period. The role involves evaluating GYN, Non GYN, and FNA cytologic slides microscopically to determine the presence of cancer cells, infectious organisms, etc., and identifying/marking abnormal cells for pathologist review.
