About The Position

The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining an accurate count of all in-house inventory. The role involves physically counting components and parts, processing cycle counts, and updating transactions in a computer system. The employee must follow safety requirements, practice 5S, and notify the appropriate personnel of material shortages. The role also requires adapting to changes and performing other assigned tasks, including working other shifts as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in inventory.
• Basic computer skills and math skills required.
• High attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, perform repetitive motions, and lift up to 10 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform work within takt/cycle time.
• Physically count components and parts to correlate with in-house inventory.
• Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area.
• Practice 5S.
• Inform proper personnel of material shortages.
• Update transactions in the computer system.
• Perform the cycle count process.
• React effectively to change and handle other tasks as assigned, including working other shifts as needed.
