About The Position

The Cycle Counter is responsible for periodically and accurately counting inventory to help control errors and ensure customer orders are on time and complete. The role checks or counts inbound and outbound freight, verifies products are free of damage and infestation, and ensures production code dates are properly recorded. It also involves verifying orders against customer specifications and researching inventory and shipping discrepancies.

The position is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. at $20.00 per hour, plus a $1 shift differential. The posting identifies the position as onsite. DHL Supply Chain describes itself as an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of warehousing or material-handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately check or count products for inbound and outbound freight.
• Ensure products are free of damage and infestation and production code dates are properly recorded.
• Verify that order quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing meet customer specifications and other requirements.
• Research inventory location problems, including mystery pallets and inventory errors.
• Research shipping errors and complete validation.
• Check for product recalls.
• Provide lift operator-related task assistance in areas such as inbounds, picking, and outbounds when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
