About The Position

Lozier Corporation is hiring a first-shift Cut-Off Machine Operator. The role supports the company’s manufacturing operations and requires setting up and operating production equipment to specifications, helping ensure safe and efficient operation, and contributing to a clean and safe work environment. The position works in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and participates in continuous improvement projects. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Compensation is $22.39 per hour. New hires are eligible for a $1,000 bonus after completing 90 days of employment, subject to taxes. The first pay increase is after six months.

Requirements

Able to lift up to 30 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
Reliable attendance.

Nice To Haves

Currently hold or be able to obtain a forklift license.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Working knowledge of measuring tools such as a tape measure, caliper, protractor, and micrometer.
Die setup experience in brake press, stamping, or injection molding processes.
Basic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate behaviors that support Lozier’s mission, vision, and core values.
Set up punch presses, brake presses, and/or automatic presses to print specifications to achieve maximum productivity.
Perform basic programming for laser or CNC equipment.
Communicate equipment and tooling setup problems to Machine Operators, Supervisors, and Technicians.
Follow up with Machine Operators to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities throughout the shift.
Maintain reliable attendance.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
Participate in continuous improvement projects.
