About The Position

Lozier Corporation is hiring a 1st Shift Cut-Off Machine Operator. The role supports manufacturing of products used by retailers in stores and warehouses and is expected to champion Lozier’s mission, vision, and core values. The work involves setting up press equipment to print specifications, basic programming for laser or CNC equipment, communicating setup and tooling problems, and ensuring machines operate safely and efficiently. The position works in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and requires reliable attendance and maintaining a safe, clean work area.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Compensation is $22.39 per hour. New hires may receive a $1,000 bonus after completing 90 days of employment, subject to taxes, and the first pay increase occurs after six months.

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 30 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance.

Nice To Haves

• Currently hold or be able to obtain a forklift license.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Working knowledge of measuring tools such as a tape measure, caliper, protractor, and micrometer.
• Die setup experience in brake press, stamping, or injection molding processes.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate behaviors that support Lozier’s mission, vision, and core values.
• Set up punch presses, brake presses, and/or automatic presses to print specifications to maximize productivity.
• Perform basic programming for laser or CNC equipment.
• Communicate equipment and tooling setup problems to machine operators, supervisors, and technicians.
• Follow up with machine operators to ensure operations are running safely and efficiently.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities throughout the shift.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
