About The Position

This role is responsible for providing comprehensive support for equipment installation and maintenance at customer sites. The engineer will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems, as well as networks. This includes managing the entire installation process, operating and training customers on equipment applications, software, and part programming using Amada applications software. The position requires regular travel within assigned territories and involves hands-on work with hand tools, climbing, bending, and stooping, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

Ability to communicate in the English language.
Excellent customer relations and follow through.
Ability to analyze and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical, and electrical systems.
Ability to use hand tools, Volt/Ohm meter, and Oscilloscope.
Working knowledge of computers and Windows OS.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
Being accountable and responsible to service and support a customer through all aspects of the customer’s ownership of the machine.

Responsibilities

Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, control systems, and networks.
Able to precisely follow layout drawings and blueprints for equipment installation.
Complete status (service) reports daily and expense reports weekly.
Manage the total equipment installation process at customer sites, including using hand tools, climbing, bending, and stooping.
Provide operation, applications, software, and part programming capabilities, and customer training.
Use Amada applications software for line control and part programming.
Regular travel within assigned territories.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
