About The Position

This role involves providing expert support for automated equipment, focusing on troubleshooting and installation. The engineer will be responsible for the complete installation process at customer sites, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems, as well as networks. This includes interpreting blueprints, using hand tools, and operating Amada applications software for line control and part programming. Daily status reports and weekly expense reports are required, along with excellent customer relations and follow-through. The position requires regular travel within assigned territories and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, control systems, and networks.
Ability to precisely follow layout drawings and blueprints.
Ability to communicate in the English language.
Excellent customer relations and follow-through.
Ability to use hand tools.
Operation, applications, software, and part programming capabilities.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to analyze and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical and electrical systems.
Ability to use hand tools, Volt/Ohm meter and Oscilloscope.
Working knowledge of computers and Windows OS.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, control systems, and networks.
Follow layout drawings and blueprints for equipment installation.
Complete daily status (service) reports and weekly expense reports.
Manage the total equipment installation process at customer sites.
Operate, program, and train customers on equipment software and applications.
Use Amada applications software for line control and part programming.
Provide service and support to customers throughout their ownership of the machine.
Travel regularly within assigned territories.
