About The Position

Eden Foods is seeking full-time office staff for its Headquarters Sales Department in Clinton, Michigan. The role focuses on cultivating relationships with customers, prospects, and industry members to support merchandising of Eden Foods products and mutually beneficial business. The associate uses company business systems and communicates effectively to conduct efficient business. The position requires familiarity with Eden products, the company, its systems, policies, terms of sale, and practices. The associate supports sales and service activities, maintains accurate business and customer records, helps improve departmental processes, and works with customers, merchandisers, Regional Sales Managers, brokers, and other company contacts. The role also handles product and service inquiries and helps oversee appropriate use of Eden trademarks and copyrighted materials. This job description is not all-inclusive. Responsibilities

Cultivate relationships with customers, prospects, and industry members that support merchandising of Eden Foods products and mutual benefit.
Learn and use knowledge of Eden products, company systems, policies, terms of sale, and business practices to facilitate commerce and relationships.
Contribute to creating, maintaining, and improving Sales Department and company processes and protocols.
Cultivate industry relationships to increase knowledge about and appreciation for the Eden brand.
Maintain records needed to qualify accounts and prospects.
Provide prompt, reliable service to customers, prospects, team members, and company network contacts.
Coordinate and communicate with the Sales Department and align work with company priorities, customer needs, and sales and marketing efforts.
Conduct reliable and timely outreach and follow-through with customers, merchandisers, team members, and prospects.
Communicate accurately, thoughtfully, and promptly in accordance with Eden Foods’ marketing, ethics, terms of sale, purchase orders, and incentive agreements.
Facilitate company supply to distributors, retailers, eCommerce accounts, and individuals.
Coordinate sales and service efforts and engage with Regional Sales Managers and broker personnel about opportunities, needs, customer activities, and market information.
Accommodate the needs of Eden Regional Sales Managers and broker representatives.
Handle requests and inquiries about product information, samples, services, business forms and paperwork, and logistics.
Help oversee use of Eden trademarks, brand names, and copyrighted intellectual property, and promptly report related issues to management.
Maintain accurate company data, business records, product information, and customer information.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or Eden Management.
