About The Position

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned. Perform janitorial duties, operate motorized cleaning equipment, and maintain daily upkeep of assigned areas. This role requires reporting incidents and hazardous conditions to a supervisor, complying with safety rules, and performing work assignments in a team environment. The representative will also handle repetitive tasks, maintain a clean work area, and follow all company protocols and procedures. Additionally, the role involves taking direction, responding to supervision, and communicating professionally with leads, supervisors, co-workers, managers, and customers. This position may involve filling in during staff shortages and supporting shift leads in completing tasks. A key aspect of the role is understanding customer service and satisfaction, as well as reporting systems and the environment. Presenting a professional appearance and conduct is essential.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
  • Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
  • Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license
  • Completed all safety and task training certification
  • May be required to be forklift certified
  • 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
