Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable learning new software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Valid driver's license for occasional travel

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Appointments: Set and reschedule pickup and delivery appointments, balancing customer needs with driver availability
  • Communicate Proactively: Keep customers in the loop with truck arrivals, ETAs, and load updates via phone and email
  • Manage Data & Systems: Enter load information accurately in real time and keep customer profiles current and error-free
  • Maintain Customer Profiles: Build out detailed facility information, directions, gate codes, and special requirements so drivers have what they need
  • Support EDI Accuracy: Audit EDI transactions and help resolve system errors quickly
