About The Position

National Fitness Partners is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative at its Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania club. The role provides customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests while supporting an exceptional Judgement Free member experience. The starting pay is $12 per hour, with hourly increases at 180 days, one year, and every six months after the first year, based on the employee’s anniversary date. Select shifts receive shift-differential pay. The scheduled hours are Monday through Thursday, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during the shift.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
