About The Position

Avis Budget Group is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative for an airport location in Columbus, Ohio. This is an active, outdoor, on-site, multi-function role supporting customers throughout the vehicle rental and return process. Duties vary by location and may include checking vehicles, entering information on a handheld device, processing rentals for loyalty customers, assisting customers at exit gates, and checking in returned vehicles. The representative provides professional, friendly service to help make each customer’s experience smooth and positive. The position requires flexibility to work all shifts and regular on-site presence; it cannot be performed remotely.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry.
• Effective verbal communication and customer service skills.
• A customer-first mindset and genuine desire to help people create positive experiences.
• Professionalism, patience, and clear communication.
• Willingness to work outdoors and stay active.
• Flexibility to work all shifts.
• Ability to type, sit, stand, walk, or move throughout the rental lot; enter and exit vehicles for prolonged periods; and drive a variety of vehicles.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be regularly present on site; the role cannot be performed remotely.

• Six months of retail or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
