About The Position

National Fitness Partners is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative at its Planet Fitness club on South High Street in Columbus, Ohio. The role provides customer service to members, prospective members, and guests, with the goal of delivering an exceptional Judgement Free experience. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Starting pay is $12 per hour. Hourly pay increases are based on tenure: at 180 days, at one year, and every six months after the first year, based on the employee’s anniversary date. Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during the shift.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phone calls in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage and merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Help maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
