About The Position

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, is hiring a Customer Service Representative for its Perkiomen location in Reading, Pennsylvania. The role provides customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, with the goal of creating an exceptional Judgement Free experience. The position is full-time and pays starting at $12 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Hourly pay increases are provided at 180 days, at one year, and every six months thereafter based on the employee’s anniversary date.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must work with cleaning chemicals during the shift.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during the shift.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage and merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
