About The Position

The DeWALT Customer Service Representative is an on-site member of the T&O Commercial team in Addison, Illinois. The role handles customer orders and pricing, provides product and service guidance, conducts sales and service at the counter and by phone, and resolves customer concerns. The representative also promotes additional products, services, and programs while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Requirements

Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, with additional hours as needed to meet customer demands.
Experience in a customer-facing role within a retail or service environment.
High degree of integrity and accountability.
Dependability, reliability, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Superior customer service and salesmanship skills.
Excellent skills in Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual proficiency.
Experience reading schematics and determining parts needed for specific tool repairs.

Responsibilities

Handle pricing and verify catalog numbers, item descriptions, quantities, and extended amounts on customer orders.
Answer questions about products and services and suggest additional products and services to attract customers and drive incremental sales.
Conduct customer sales and service at the counter and by phone.
Advise customers on product applications, features, benefits, handling, and maintenance.
Sell services, programs, and products to customers.
Resolve product or service problems by clarifying complaints, identifying causes, explaining solutions, expediting corrections or adjustments, and following up to confirm resolution.
