About The Position

The Customer Service Representative serves customers and prospects at CSB’s Bolivar Banking Center in Bolivar, Ohio. The role provides exceptional customer service, completes banking transactions, supports growth in customer portfolios, and strengthens community relations. The representative follows CSB’s customer service, professional conduct, and retail operating standards; learns and explains banking products and services; and recommends options that meet customers’ needs. The role also performs teller-line and daily banking center duties in accordance with bank policies and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Serve customers professionally and courteously, follow CSB customer service and professional standards, and build rapport by asking questions to understand customer needs.
Represent and promote CSB through professional conduct and participation in community activities.
Apply relationship banking principles and recommend appropriate products and services to support customer portfolio growth.
Explain the features and benefits of banking products and services.
Complete customer transactions according to the Retail Services Handbook and bank policies and procedures.
Maintain cash drawers within established limits and balance the drawer at the end of each banking day.
Assist customers with access to safe deposit boxes and refer customers to bank personnel as appropriate.
Scan proof work to Deposit Operations throughout the day.
Perform end-of-day duties as needed, including utilities and cash advance item reconciliation.
Count and balance cash in automated teller machines (ATMs).
Balance and perform regular maintenance on the coin machine.
Assist the Banking Center Manager with opening and closing the Banking Center.
