About The Position

Afni is seeking customer-focused and detail-oriented Non-Licensed Insurance Service Representatives to provide customer support in a remote, phone-based environment. Representatives are a primary point of contact for customers needing help with policy inquiries, account maintenance, billing questions, policy updates, and other insurance-related services. The role focuses on delivering a positive customer experience while explaining insurance products, coverage information, and policy details within the scope of a non-licensed representative. Candidates must live in the Phoenix Metro area and have a distraction-free home workspace. The company provides equipment; candidates must have cable or fiber-optic internet and be able to connect the equipment directly to a modem, without Wi-Fi. Compensation starts at $16.50 per hour for a 40-hour work week. Top representatives may earn an additional $3 per hour with bonus. Paid training is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle customer concerns professionally and empathetically.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to learn insurance concepts, processes, and systems.
Computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple applications.
Ability to work in a structured environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Must live in the Phoenix Metro area.
Must have a distraction-free workspace with four walls and a door, without electronics, people, pets, or noise.
Must have cable or fiber-optic internet service and be able to connect company equipment directly to a modem; Wi-Fi is not permitted.
Ability to work scheduled shifts, including occasional overtime based on business needs.
Dependability and commitment to attendance expectations.

Nice To Haves

Minimum one year of customer service experience.
One year of work-at-home experience.
Experience in a call center, contact center, healthcare, banking, retail, hospitality, or insurance environment.
Experience working with customer accounts, billing inquiries, or account maintenance.
Experience meeting quality and productivity goals.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service through inbound phone interactions.
Assist customers with policy servicing requests, policy updates, billing inquiries, and general questions.
Explain insurance products, coverage information, and policy details within the scope of a non-licensed representative.
Accurately document customer interactions and maintain detailed records in company systems.
Research and resolve customer concerns while ensuring a positive customer experience.
Navigate multiple systems simultaneously to access account information and complete transactions.
Adhere to company policies, compliance requirements, and quality standards.
Identify opportunities to transfer customers to licensed agents when required.
Meet performance expectations related to quality, productivity, attendance, and customer satisfaction.
