About The Position

Taylor Metal Products, a manufacturer of high-end steel roofing and siding products, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide customers with an exemplary service experience and ensure they receive products that meet their quality and application expectations. The role supports assigned Outside Sales Representatives and requires product knowledge, sales support, and coordination with appropriate departments to address errors and discrepancies.

The position is full-time and based at the Auburn TMP location in Auburn, Washington, with a day shift. The listed salary range is $41,000 to $70,000 hourly, as stated in the posting. Requirements

• At least 1 year of sales support experience.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
• Recommend products based on customers’ needs and interests.
• Answer questions about products, prices, availability, uses, and credit terms.
• Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
• Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
• Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids tailored to specific customer needs.
• Resolve or clarify errors and discrepancies with appropriate departments.
• Demonstrate extensive product knowledge.
• Support assigned Outside Sales Representatives.
• Follow established administrative and clerical procedures.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
