About The Position

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, serves over one million members across more than 200 clubs and aims to provide an affordable, Judgement Free fitness experience. The Customer Service Representative helps create an exceptional experience for members, prospective members, and guests by providing customer service and maintaining a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.

This is a full-time, first-shift position at the Springfield, Pennsylvania location. The stated schedule is Monday 4:45 a.m.–10:45 a.m., Wednesday and Thursday 4:45 a.m.–1:00 p.m., and Friday 4:45 a.m.–1:15 p.m. Starting pay is $12 per hour. Hourly increases occur at 180 days, at one year, and every six months after the first year, based on the employee’s anniversary date.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
