About The Position

National Fitness Partners is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative at its Williamsport, Pennsylvania, Planet Fitness club. The role provides customer service to members, prospective members, and guests while helping create an exceptional Judgement Free fitness experience and maintaining a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment. The schedule is Monday from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Starting pay is $12 per hour, with hourly increases at 180 days, one year, and every six months thereafter based on the employee's anniversary date.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling are required.
• Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals during the shift.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching are required.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage and merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
