About The Position

The Customer Service Representative - Packaging Distribution develops and maintains positive account relationships by serving as a customer service contact, meeting customer expectations, and supporting profitability internally and externally. The role coordinates with customers, sales teams, vendors, and internal operations to support product availability and address customer needs.

Requirements

• At least two years of customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, and other business application software.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of protective packaging preferred.
• Experience in packaging distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers, sales teams, vendors, and internal operations to ensure adequate product stocking levels.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer questions about pricing, billing, delivery, purchase orders, and follow-up requests.
• Communicate order status, delays, and resolutions clearly to customers and internal teams.
• Process customer transactions and maintain accurate order records in the company's management system.
• Enter and maintain accurate product specifications, units of measure, and pricing.
• Conduct price comparisons and communicate findings as needed.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to address customer needs.
• Assist with accounts receivable problems and opportunities.
• Prepare reports and maintain records as required.
• Perform other duties as required.
