About The Position

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative at its Brownsburg, Indiana location. The role focuses on providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, and ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience. Starting pay is $12 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday from 1 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. Hourly increases are offered at 180 days, one year, and every six months thereafter, based on the employee's anniversary date. Select shifts receive shift-differential pay.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during the shift.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
