About The Position

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, helping people, and staying one step ahead? American Home Contractors is on the hunt for a Customer Service Representative to join our growing, high-performing team. If you're organized, tech-savvy, and love being the go-to person, this could be your next big move. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hour shift plus a 30-minute meal and rest break. Occasional Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (rotation estimate is every fifth or sixth Saturday). This is a full-time, in-office position. No remote work, this is an in-office postiion based in the Fulton, Maryland office.

Requirements

  • You’re reliable and punctual. Full stop. If you can't show up on time consistently, this won't be the right fit.
  • You’re proactive and focused. This is a high-output role. It’s not a place for multitasking on your phone or watching background distractions.
  • You thrive under pressure. You can juggle tasks and keep your cool in a fast-paced setting.
  • You love tech. You’re confident using systems like CRMs, scheduling tools, and communication platforms.
  • You’re detail-obsessed. Accuracy is a must in this role.
  • You’ve got people skills. Whether it's on the phone, over text, or in person, you make people feel heard and taken care of.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in appointment setting or a similar call-heavy role
  • Familiarity with Zoho or similar CRM platforms
  • You get a genuine kick out of exceeding expectations

Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls, answer questions confidently, and schedule appointments with accuracy and care.
  • Each CSR is expected to complete 150+ outbound calls per day once fully trained, no cold calling here, ever. These are warm calls to customers who’ve already contacted us.
  • Use our Podium dashboard to communicate with customers quickly and professionally.
  • Update our CRM (Zoho) with precise notes and status changes. Mistakes here cause real issues.
  • You’ll interact with nearly every department, acting as the glue between customers and the rest of the company.
