About The Position

CXI Trucking seeks a Full Time Customer Service Representative to work in our office in Melrose Park, IL. This position will be responsible for frequent and accurate communication with customers, vendors, and CXI personnel.

Requirements

  • Customer Service experience
  • Experience managing high call and email volume
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to analyze information skillfully
  • Equivalent job experience would also be considered
  • 1 year(s): Customer Service Experience or the equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with scheduling freight deliveries in the transportation industry is a HUGE PLUS!

Responsibilities

  • Enter pickups from submissions via E-mail or phone
  • Initiate and Respond to heavy volume of phone calls and emails from customers
  • Coordinate and Schedule delivery appointments with the customers
  • Work closely with Dispatch and other departments to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries
  • Interacting with customers/shippers, carriers/agents via email and phone
  • Answer inquiries and resolve issues
  • Miscellaneous paperwork processing, reporting, and other related duties.
