About The Position

Circle K is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative for its Rockford, Illinois store. The role involves greeting customers, operating the register, cashiering, suggesting purchases, and sometimes working with the food program. Representatives work throughout the store, inside and outside, to maintain store appearance standards and provide fast, friendly customer service. The position requires regular and predictable onsite attendance and availability for overnight shifts on weekdays and weekends.

Requirements

• Provide excellent customer care and communicate through friendly conversation.
• Work at a quick pace while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Work as part of a team to accomplish daily goals.
• Think quickly, offer suggestions, and come up with ideas to solve problems.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes in a shift.
• Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
• Push or pull with arms using up to 20 pounds of force.
• Bend at the waist, with some twisting, for up to one hour per shift.
• Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands; perform handwork requiring eye-hand coordination and possibly climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials or place and remove signs.
• Availability for overnight shifts on weekdays and weekends.
