About The Position
Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a friendly and dependable Customer Service Representative to enhance the shopping experience at its Goodwill store in Salem, Ohio. The role involves assisting customers, handling transactions, maintaining the sales floor and checkout area, and collaborating with team members. Candidates should have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and reliable attendance. Training and support are offered to help employees succeed. This is a part-time position with flexible hours based on store needs and a future possibility of full-time hours. The store operates seven days a week, and the representative must be available to work weekends and evenings as scheduled.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds.
- Reliable, with a commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance.
- No criminal background that would be unsuitable for a retail environment; a background check is required.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Must be available to work weekends and evenings as scheduled.

- Previous customer service or retail experience is preferred but not required.
