About The Position
Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a friendly and dependable Customer Service Representative to enhance the shopping experience at its Goodwill store in Salem, Ohio. The role involves assisting customers, processing purchases, maintaining the sales floor and checkout area, and working with team members to meet store goals. Training and support are offered. This is a part-time position with flexible hours based on store needs; full-time hours may be possible in the future. The store is open seven days a week, and employees must be available to work weekends and evenings as scheduled.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds.
- Reliable, with a commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance.
- No criminal background that would be unsuitable for a retail environment; a background check is required.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
Nice To Haves
- Previous customer service or retail experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
