About The Position

Insure Online is hiring a Customer Service Agent for its insurance agency, which represents more than 50 national and regional insurance carriers. The role provides customer service to insurance clients, supports sales and client retention, and requires knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance products and carrier systems. The position also assists with organizational projects and other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain a relevant Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance license.
• Prior insurance customer service experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Property and Casualty insurance industry.
• Solid written and oral communication skills.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer service duties, including taking payments and handling inspections.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Mail quote letters in a timely manner.
• Follow proper cash handling processes.
• Learn and use the systems and programs utilized by the company.
• Cross-sell existing clients when appropriate.
• Complete follow-up procedures for cross-selling new customers.
• Continue learning carrier products and underwriting details to identify sales opportunities and support professional development.
• Assist with other organizational projects when needed.
• Contact canceled clients about reinstatement.
• Perform other duties assigned at management discretion.
