About The Position

U-Haul is seeking a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative to provide customer service at its Murray, Utah location. Working as part of a supportive team, the representative helps customers with U-Haul products and services, dispatches and returns equipment using current technology, and inspects and maintains equipment. On-the-job education is offered, including ongoing training through U-Haul University. The posting advertises paid working interviews, a $100 hiring bonus, and a $300 cash bonus upon completion of U-Haul Equipment Inspection and Verification through its 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program at retail stores. Requirements

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require employer sponsorship.
In Utah, must not use nicotine products, according to the employer’s stated hiring policy.

Responsibilities

Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
Prepare rental invoices and accept returned rental equipment.
Install hitches and trailer wiring.
Fill propane; certification is offered through U-Haul upon employment.
Drive a forklift; certification is offered through U-Haul upon employment.
Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
Perform other duties as assigned.
