Requirements

  • 1 or more years of sales experience required
  • Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, utilize company resources and deliver exceptional customer service (internal & external)
  • Basic computer skills such as familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required

Nice To Haves

  • previous knowledge in Construction industry a plus
  • 1 year of experience in a Customer Service role preferred
  • 4-Year College Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Attend sales meetings, training and activities; to include performing additional duties as needed
  • Communicate, collaborate and interact with team members from supply chain, outside sales and management
  • Consult directly with sales and customers to ensure adequate communication and information is conveyed
  • Issue sales orders for customer purchase orders.
  • Process all customer transactions accurately and timely including sales orders, inquiries, quotes or returns
  • Provide technical support to Sales and directly to customers with inquiries and customer complaints
  • Support the sales team in managing existing accounts and building strong relationships with new customers
  • Support the Sales Team in research, data collection and analysis
  • Telephone and face to face contact with customers providing recommendations, price/job quoting, and entering sales orders
  • Work in close-knit team environment with other Sales Specialists to drive both individual and team performance.
