Domino’s Customer Service Representatives provide friendly customer service and help prepare and serve high-quality pizzas. They take and process orders in person and by phone, address customer concerns, handle cash, and may upsell products. The role also includes food preparation, stocking and controlling ingredients and portions, maintaining food safety and hygiene, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Team members receive in-store training and support from a manager or teammate. The position may be part-time or full-time, and the posting describes opportunities to progress from customer service into management and franchise ownership. The work involves operating store equipment and using a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders. Team members communicate with customers and coworkers, follow written instructions, make accurate calculations and monetary change, and work independently or with others while meeting quality standards. Work conditions can include changing or adverse weather during outside tasks, temperatures ranging from about 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees or above in some work areas, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical work includes standing for most tasks, walking short distances, handling and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, and occasionally climbing stairs or a ladder, stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting. Deliveries may include cases weighing up to 50 pounds. Reaching and hand use are continuous, and shaping dough frequently requires forceful use of the forearms and wrists.
