About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a customer service representative and pizza maker for its Byhalia, Mississippi store. Team members help make, bake, and take pizzas during busy hours and may work part time or full time. The role can suit someone seeking a primary job or supplemental income, with opportunities to advance from customer service to management and potentially franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Team members operate store equipment, stock and prepare ingredients and products, process customer orders by phone and in person, take inventory, complete paperwork, and clean the equipment and facility. The work involves standing for most tasks and includes frequent reaching and hand use, repetitive movements, and occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, crouching, and bending. Conditions can include varying outdoor weather, changing in-store temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to meet physical demands that include prolonged standing and walking, frequent reaching and hand use, and occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, and crouching.
• Ability to handle cases weighing up to 50 pounds and to work around hot surfaces and equipment, including ovens reaching 500 degrees or higher.

Responsibilities

• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers in person.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage shelves.
• Perform other store tasks such as changing sign prices, washing walls, and maintenance as needed.
