About The Position

The Customer Service Lead (CSL) assists the store management team in providing a distinctive shopping experience and executing store operations during scheduled shifts. The CSL models outstanding customer service and selling skills, helps allocate staff and resources to keep the sales floor stocked, organizes sales floor and stock areas, and builds trusted partnerships with painting professionals. In the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, the CSL takes full responsibility for store operations. The role involves advising customers in person and by phone, processing transactions, and upholding Dunn-Edwards’ vision of fast and reliable service. The CSL continues to learn about the industry, products, and services through the Dunn-Edwards Learning Network and job certification programs. Although no employees report directly to the position, the CSL often acts as shift supervisor during opening and closing and directs store associates at those times. Store schedules vary by location. Opening shifts may begin as early as 5:00 a.m., and closing shifts may end as late as 6:30 p.m.; some locations operate seven days per week.
