About The Position

BSP Trans, Inc. has been providing the Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont areas with outstanding LTL transportation services since 1970. At BSP, our team consists of a six-terminal network across our coverage area to ensure swift deliveries for customers. We have immediate openings for our Customer Service/Data Entry position Part-Time - Mon thru Fri - 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM $21.65 Per hour.

Requirements

• Must have a successful completion of a county level background check during onboarding
• Previous experience in customer service, sales, data entry, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to work in a face paced environment
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• The ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Must be competent and proficient in Microsoft Office Software products
• Previous experience in transportation or related field

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries
• Provide information about the products and services
• Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
• Document and update customer records based on interactions
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
• Answering incoming calls from customers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries of freight to both commercial and residential customers
• Data entry of customers’ information for scheduling and tracking of freight within the BSP system
• Light cleaning and office upkeep
