About The Position

The Customer Service Coordinator at Coates Brooklyn is the first point of contact for customers and helps deliver exceptional service, coordinate equipment solutions, and keep branch operations running efficiently. Working with an experienced team, the coordinator manages customer enquiries, processes hire documentation, coordinates equipment logistics, and supports customers across phone, email, and face-to-face channels.

Requirements

Experience in customer service, administration, coordination, or internal sales.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of customers.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
Proactive approach to supporting customers and colleagues.
Confidence working across phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Confidence using business systems and learning new technology.

Responsibilities

Deliver customer service via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
Manage customer enquiries and support requests through a shared inbox.
Prepare hire schedules, quotations, and invoicing documentation.
Coordinate equipment deliveries, transfers, pick-ups, repairs, and breakdowns.
Work with branch, transport, and sales teams to deliver customer solutions.
