About The Position

Models and delivers a distinctive, delightful customer experience. Registers sales on an assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. The associate also supports store operations, merchandising, inventory, asset protection, regulated-product compliance, photo services, web pickups, and store maintenance. Attends training and completes assigned learning activities.

Requirements

Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Six months of experience in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve issues, and answer questions.
Model and share customer-service best practices and Walgreens service traits with team members.
Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommend items, trade-ups, and companion products.
Register purchases, collect cash, provide change, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
Check in and price merchandise as directed.
Implement asset-protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws governing regulated products, such as alcohol and tobacco.
Construct and maintain promotional, seasonal, and sale displays; complete resets and revisions as directed.
Separate food items and place products according to policy; assist with stock rotation using first-in, first-out and restock outs.
Maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Provide photo-area customer service, including digital passport photos, poster printing, use of the creative machine, and promotion of photo products.
Monitor and fulfill web pickup orders and deliver them to customers when they arrive at the store.
Help maintain clean, neat, orderly interior and exterior store conditions.
Follow company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.
