About The Position

Models and delivers a distinctive, delightful customer experience. Registers sales on an assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. The associate also supports store operations, merchandising, maintenance, and customer services in the photo area and for web pick-up orders. Complies with company policies and procedures, maintains respectful relationships with coworkers, and completes training and other assignments as directed.

Requirements

Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prior work experience with Walgreens.
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve customer issues, and answer questions.
Model and share customer-service best practices, including courteous interpersonal habits and proactive assistance through to customer satisfaction.
Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommend products, trade-up options, and companion items.
Register purchases, collect cash, provide change, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records; check in and price merchandise as directed.
Follow asset-protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
Comply with state and local laws concerning regulated products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
Construct and maintain promotional, seasonal, and sale displays; complete resets and revisions as directed.
Assist with food separation and product placement according to policy; rotate consumable stock using first-in, first-out practices and restock outs.
Maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Provide photo-area customer service, including digital passport photos, poster printing, use of the creative machine, and promotion of photo products.
Monitor and fulfill web pick-up orders in Picture Care Plus and deliver orders to customers when they arrive at the store.
Help maintain clean, neat, and orderly interior and exterior store conditions.
Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain respectful coworker relationships.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by a manager or assigned by corporate.
