About The Position

The Customer Service Associate works in the Front End and processes customer monetary transactions with speed and efficiency. The role provides professional, efficient service and demonstrates a high level of product knowledge. It also includes operating the POS system, handling and balancing cash, packing purchases, maintaining displays and a clean work area, and collecting shopping carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas regardless of outside conditions.

Requirements

• Demonstrate basic math skills, with and without a calculator.
• Be able to write legibly and read with comprehension at a level applicable to the position.
• Have knowledge of current products and codes.

Responsibilities

• Operate the POS system.
• Count and balance the cash till before and after the shift.
• Bag and pack customer purchases with care.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas, regardless of outside conditions.
• Stock and maintain displays.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area free of hazards.
• Follow Westborn Market’s time and attendance policy.
• Maintain a positive and helpful attitude during the shift.
• Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
