About The Position

Carquest Canada is seeking a Customer Service Administrator - Student in Bolton, ON Available April to September 2026. This role reports to the Customer Service Manager and is responsible for responding to customer requests, determining parts availability and prices in a timely and efficient manner, and pack entry. The position offers an opportunity to incorporate a passion for cars and customer service within the automotive after-market industry.

Requirements

  • 0-1 year of customer service experience is required
  • Able to deal with a high volume amount of emails
  • Computer knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word
  • Basic knowledge of some accounting procedures
  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent mathematical skills
  • Must have well developed interpersonal skills to deal with customers
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Responsibilities

  • Responding to customer requests as they come in
  • Determining the availability of parts and prices in a timely and efficient manner
  • Pack entry
  • Researching and handling customer issues as they arise
  • Notifying customers regarding fill discrepancies on “must have orders”
  • Checking prices and parts availability while speaking with customers
  • Re-keying “unknown orders” to identify customer names, addresses and any other information for proper billing and shipping
  • Maintaining the special order file and following up as necessary for billing invoices not received and proof of delivery to customer
  • Maintaining records to ensure prompt and accurate reporting
  • Documenting over/short claims for research and resolution
  • Performing accounting duties consisting of credit entry, order entry and direct billing for shipments from other company locations
