About The Position
Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a full-time Customer Sales & Service Representative at its Ishpeming, Michigan service center. The role provides professional and timely support to the sales team and customers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The representative partners with customers and outside sales representatives to identify products and services, address customer needs, and build positive ongoing business relationships. Applied Industrial Technologies is a leading value-added distributor and technical solutions provider of industrial motion, fluid power, flow control, automation technologies, and related maintenance supplies. Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Organized aptitude and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR).
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of customer service, inside sales, mechanical, or maintenance experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Solve customer inquiries.
- Prepare quotes.
- Process and expedite orders and returns.
- Source parts from suppliers nationwide.
- Assist in generating sales by upselling, adding on, and educating customers.
- Help in the stockroom.
- Deliver orders to customers as needed.
