About The Position

Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a full-time Customer Sales & Service Representative at its Ishpeming, Michigan service center. The representative provides professional, timely support to the sales team and customers, partnering with customers and outside sales representatives to identify products and services, solve customer needs, and build positive ongoing business relationships. The role also supports sales, order fulfillment, and customer deliveries in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Organized aptitude and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of customer service, inside sales, mechanical, or maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer inquiries.
• Prepare quotes and process or expedite orders and returns.
• Source parts from suppliers nationwide.
• Help generate sales by upselling, adding on, and educating customers.
• Assist in the stockroom and deliver orders to customers as needed.
• Support the sales team and customers in a professional and timely manner.
• Build ongoing positive business relationships with customers.
