About The Position

AHF Products/Crossville Studios is hiring a CSR/Warehouse Associate for its Fletcher, North Carolina showroom. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role supports the branch’s day-to-day sales activities by providing customer service and handling order processing, warehouse operations, and inventory tasks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a one-hour meal break. The position combines customer-facing service with shipping, receiving, stocking, and inventory responsibilities. The associate must follow company procedures and safety requirements, maintain an organized work area, communicate effectively, and work with urgency and attention to detail. The role may require overtime and occasional lifting of up to 50–75 pounds, as well as work outdoors and in hot or cold conditions.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Forklift certification, or willingness to train and learn the skill.
Comfort using a computer and proficiency with Windows-based applications.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to communicate with a wide range of customers, including homeowners, builders, architects, and designers.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve customer issues involving orders and shipments.
Self-driven, energetic, and able to take initiative with minimal supervision.
Customer-focused sales and relationship-selling ability, with a solution-oriented approach and strong follow-through.
Basic math skills, including the ability to take accurate measurements.
Ability to work effectively in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment and multitask with a sense of urgency.
Ability to work overtime as necessary.
Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Ability to lift up to 50–75 pounds occasionally, work outdoors occasionally, and work frequently in extreme hot or cold weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Provide customers with helpful, knowledgeable service throughout the sales and order-completion process.
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude; answer phones and greet customers.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, update order status codes, and maintain open-order and quote reports.
Follow up on backorders and contact customers about order status and estimated arrival times.
Coordinate with outside sales representatives, managers, customers, and coworkers; resolve customer issues involving shipments and orders.
Schedule deliveries and customer reminder calls.
Complete delegated assignments, back up other department positions when needed, and work with minimal supervision.
Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work area and follow quality, safety, hygiene, and procedural standards.
Scan purchase orders, receivers, proof-of-delivery documents, and other paperwork into the Imaging system.
Process, package, and ship orders accurately and on time; examine incoming and outgoing shipments.
Organize stock, maintain and rotate inventory and supplies, and restock shelves using a forklift, ladders, or by hand.
Assist with inventory control, perform cycle counts, and process inventory-transfer paperwork.
Perform other duties as assigned.
