About The Position

The Customer Sales Associate serves as a trusted advisor to customers visiting Trane Supply stores. The role supports customers with parts and equipment needs, resolves issues, provides timely parts and solutions, and helps achieve sales goals. It involves building customer relationships, understanding Trane products and promotions, managing quotes and orders accurately, and supporting warehouse and inventory work as needed. The position is on-site five days per week and may require overtime or weekend work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Inside sales, retail, or related experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment emphasizing customer service, continuous improvement, and safety.
• Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and maintain professional customer service in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Support customers and determine effective ways to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Partner with customers to grow sales by identifying related products or add-on extensions.
• Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions, or complaints about Parts and Supply offerings, providing solutions that support customer satisfaction and future sales.
• Maintain current knowledge of Trane products, offerings, and promotions to provide a premier customer experience and drive sales.
• Interact with customers by phone and in person.
• Execute quote and order management processes accurately, including entering quotes and invoices and following through on fulfillment to support timely delivery.
• Assist with warehouse and inventory management work as needed.
• Work overtime or weekends as required.
